The words you spoke were so simple, and yet so complex. Simple in meaning and articulation; complex in that the truth you uttered has the power to change over time. When you articulated your thoughts I couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy. Those words felt like home to me. Perhaps a home to which I have never been, but they brought the feeling of being home. You know, like sleeping in your own cozy bed or having an instantaneous sense of love and belonging. You have so many magical ways of making me happy. Those words extended into the serene sense of serendipity to which you transport me regularly. And, even if these words turn out to fulfill a different meaning over time, I will always remember the conversation as one which was honest and filled with love.

Going to Urban Pantry tomorrow night with some school friends. Going to eat lots of mussels. Can’t wait.
